Upbeat horn-fuelled folk-rock, skiffle-punk, country-soul & rock n roll. We formed in 2008 to pay off a parking ticket and haven't stopped since!
We have a Good Run of Shows coming up in November & December to test out our new material before recording Album number 3 at the end of the year!
These shows will include A single release party for friends The Radio Nasties
Plus the Rips return to the Grain Barge on 22 November for a Big Show featuring Psychedelic Folksters ‘The Bad Joke That Ended Well’ and Upbeat Folk Trio ‘Ménage à Trois.’

That’s right kids back at The Blue Lagoon once again to Rip it Up for all the drunken Gloucester Road folk! expect machos dancing and tomfoolery as well as a great show from us of course. We introduced a few new tunes at out last gig in The Old Book Shop and there’s still more creeping out so come & hear what we’ve been up to.

The Relay Rips will perform their first 90 minute show of 2013 at The Blue Lagoon so expect yet another high energy upbeat Horn Fuelled Folk-Rock, Punk-Soul & Rock n Roll party!
The tables will be pushed back to increase the dance floor and the atmosphere is expected to be great as always. The Relay Rips always get a great reception at the lagoon so we can’t wait to return & rip it up once again.
